On July 23, we were able to experience the deer park of the Botnang Forestry Office, a district of Stuttgart, with a few Erasmus students from the Goldberg Gymnasium. In the “green classroom”, a spider-like wooden construction, forester Ralph Noack told us about the special features of the Botnang Forest and its ducal history.
On the way to the “Bärensee” we learned something about forest history, forest management and forest conservation. After a meal in the “Bärenschlössle”, we went to the deer enclosure and were able to see the deer fed up close. Back at the bus stop, our excursion ends and at the same time marks the end of our project, which unfortunately prevented the other schools from participating due to Corona.
