On Wednesday 14th of November Mrs Holmgeirsson informed the teachers about wild bees and bumble bees in Southern Germany. She´s expert of wild bees from the German Society for Nature Conservation (NABU) and was part of the organisation meeting in Sindelfingen.
For protecting wild bees and insects one of our project result is building insect hotels and plant butterfly zones at the school ground in every school. The teachers got the knowledge about insect hotels and how to pay attention of building them. Mrs Holmgeirsson showed some good and bad examples and so the teachers discussed problems.
