On our last day in Great Britain we visited the "dark peak" and started a walk in the morning. The "dark peak" is a part of the peak district and named by the dark Millstone Grit in contrast to the "white peak" which is covered with limestone.

Day 4 also started at school in the technique room. We finished our bee hotels and bird boxes and in the afternoon we had social time with our guest families.

On Thursday we got together in the technique department of the school and the teachers explained the following tasks. We had the choice to make bird boxes or bee hotels. Today we started the day with a trip tothe Avenue Washland Nature Reserve. The wetland Reserve was created in 2005 and before this the place was an old coal factory It was recultivated and is now a wonderful habitat of a great variety of wildlife. So everyone arrived in Dronfield on Monday March 19th and started the project meeting on Wednesday. At the DFHS the students from French Guiana presented their experiments about the degradability of plastics, reforestation of the rain forest near Kourou and the network connection in the city or Kourou.
